Project Coordinator: Supplemental Educational Services

Pay Grade

This is a 12 month position for 232 days at a minimum salary of $68,000.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience with Title I, AYP and NCLB mandates

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in managing and organizing multiple projects

  • Presentation experience

  • Experience managing full life cycle of a major project

  • Experience coordinating communication among multiple stakeholders and departments

  • Experience working with state agencies, education service centers, and/or other related organizations

  • Experience working in a field relating to school improvement

  • Experience working with Title I and/or SES work

Purpose

  • Coordinate all activities and projects for TCDSS relating to the provision of analysis and support to Supplemental Educational Services (SES) providers and Title I School Improvement Program (SIP) and/or TTIPS districts.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Education, or other applicable field)

Responsibility

  • Serve as a representative of the Center, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public

  • Supervise, plan, facilitate, and evaluate the work of the SES team

  • Serve as coordinator and project manager of SES program, including all requirements/interventions, trainings, content delivery, communications, and technical assistance

  • Research, create, manage, and facilitate all internal and external SES trainings for campuses, districts, and providers that incorporates analysis of SES data

  • Plan, develop, and manage the SES budget in collaboration with Director, program assistant, and budget administrative assistant

  • Serve as liaison between state and federal agencies in regards to SES

  • Analyze, develop, and facilitate monitoring and evaluation of SES program and services

  • Maintain current knowledge of SIP and TTIPS programs and school/district accountability systems

  • Collaborate with regional and state groups and organizations to identify, develop, and publish critical issue reports

  • Manage and facilitate publications and website for the SES program

  • Collaborate with other programs/teams and their coordinators/program managers, including TAPD, TTIPS, Snapshots, TTLA, and SIP, to coordinate services to campuses and districts

  • Develop and implement communication strategies (internally and externally) to maintain contact and share information and processes with all stakeholders

  • Answer complex questions regarding SES

  • Serve as a TCDSS representative at Committee of Practitioners and ESC-TEA/ESEA meetings

  • Oversee development and implementation of the provider application process including training of the review team

  • Create and facilitate periodic implementation support system for districts

  • Manage and/or coordinate special SES projects for campuses, districts, providers, and the state/TEA

  • Coordinate the design and implementation of State-wide online enrollment and electronic invoicing program in coordination with TEA

  • Perform other duties as assigned
