Reading and Writing STAAR: ELAR Webinars

Do you have questions about the Reading and Writing STAAR? Join us for grade-band specific ELAR webinars.

These webinars have been designed to inform you about the changes from TAKS to STAAR.  We will look at the format and rigor of STAAR reading and writing, and support you in beginning to think about the teaching implications of this assessment.

This workshop has been identified as a Core workshop.  Core Professional Development is considered foundational, the learning experiences are designed to be introductory in nature.

Please note that this is a webinar which you will access via a computer at your remote location.  Information on how to access the webinar will be provided to registered participants through e-mail.  Please make sure the e-mail address listed in your e-campus information is correct.

    Thank you for the inquiry. The webinars for past recordings have been posted to the STAAR website under the specific content area. The ELA/R ones are in the process of being posted.
