The Year of the Whole Child videoconferencing and webinar professional development opportunities

The following information was distributed through the TEA School Health and Safety LISTSERV. Please share with appropriate staff in your district.

The Year of the Whole Child videoconferencing and webinar professional development opportunities provides school districts, partner agencies and associations with tools and resources to strengthen their focus on implementing coordinated school health programming by garnering the support of administration, community, governing bodies, and parent groups. Counselors, school nurses, health and physical education teachers responsible for implementing school health policies and programs will find the professional development content educational, motivating, and refreshing as we connect our essential functions to the academic success and lifetime achievement of our students.

Please register for the videoconference (TETN) with your Education Service Center’s School Health Specialist or register for the webinar at https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/799731738.
