House Bill 5: Implementing Programs of Study and Personal Graduation Plans That Advise to Endorsements (SP1428681)

During Curriculum Council this morning Ed mentioned this opportunity in conjunction with the CTE, PEIMS, HB5 presentation. This session, on January 22nd,  is designed to be a work session regarding programs of study and personal graduation plans:

“Participants should expect an extensive working session. Participants will identify school specific programs of study that will advise students to an endorsement as mandated in House Bill 5 legislation. Learn how the program of study and personal graduation plan work together to serve all students. Participants will engage in a comprehensive process and work directly from their own master schedule (bring to session). Together, we will identify and reorganize the current course offerings, analyze labor market data, and start the process of course alignment to build your programs of study. Participants should expect tangible outcomes from this session and will identify potential endorsement options. Registration includes a resource binder with associated tools for reference. Three consultants will be on hand to assist districts as they work through this process. We encourage leadership teams to attend together for better outcomes.
