TEDxYouth@Austin: February 14, 2015

For the last two years, Austin area youth have organized and produced TEDxYouth@Austin events. Both the 2013 and 2014 events were wildly successful days that positively impacted hundreds of Austin area youth. The 2015 event is expected to be the best yet.

On Saturday, February 14, 2015, (yes, it is Valentine’s Day!) central Texas high school and middle school students will come together to hear engaging stories and see inspiring performances and intriguing presentations at the third TEDxYouth@Austin. TEDxYouth@Austin is operated under license from TED and is independently organized by a steering committee of area youth.

This is a unique opportunity for Central Texas youth to think, discuss, and act with insight about “ideas worth spreading.” We want students from all area secondary schools to have the opportunity to learn about and consider attending TEDxYouth@Austin. Over 500 students are already registered and the event is limited to 1,000 students.

Please share information with other district personnel, students, and parents.
