TEA releases 2015 STAAR tests

The Texas Education Agency announced today that the 2015 State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) tests are available for review on the TEA website. The assessments posted include STAAR general assessments: grades 3–8 reading; grades 4 and 7 writing; grades 5 and 8 science; grade 8 social studies; Algebra I; English I and English II; biology; and U.S. history.

“All 2015 STAAR released tests – except for grades 3–8 mathematics – are posted online. A partial release of the grades 3–8 mathematics questions (including grades 3–5 Spanish) is also posted online. A partial release is a subset of test questions that are eligible for the assessment but do not represent the entire test blueprint. Because the mathematics tests have undergone major revisions, there are not enough approved test questions in reserve to permit the release of full tests this year.”
