The following was sent out through e-mail distribution lists. It is being posted here as well to ensure that all have up to date information.

“Due to the sharp increase in usage of the ESTAR/MSTAR system, your district may have recently experienced technical difficulties. In order to ensure users have a positive experience, the ESTAR/MSTAR system will be temporarily unavailable while updates and improvements are made. The ESTAR/MSTAR system will return the week of 9/28/15. All data accrued for the 2015-2016 academic year will remain in the system. (Please note that the same updates will be applied to the TxAIR system. TxAIR will go live shortly after ESTAR/MSTAR returns.)

To ensure schools are given ample time to administer the Universal Screeners and Diagnostic Assessments, we have extended the administration windows by two weeks. The Universal Screener end date has changed to October 16th, and the Diagnostic Assessment end date is now October 23rd. We apologize for the inconvenience and the short notice, but we believe this solution will yield a better system and a better user experience. For additional information, contact mathtx@esc13.net. ESTAR/MSTAR professional developments are available at texasmathsupportcenter.org.”
