Public Hearing: High-Quality Prekindergarten Grant Program

The following information was shared through a Texas Education Agency Listserv:

“The Texas Education Agency (TEA) will hold a public hearing to solicit input from the public related to the development of Commissioner’s rules for the High-Quality Prekindergarten Grant Program authorized under House Bill 4, 84th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2015.

The hearing will take place at the William B. Travis Building, 1701 North Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas, 78701 on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Room 1-111.

Individuals who wish to testify at the hearing should sign in at the hearing site; no prior registration is necessary. Testimony will be limited to three minutes per speaker. Speakers are encouraged, but are not required, to provide written copies of their testimony. Individuals who wish to provide written testimony may do so at the time of the meeting.
