Supplemental Funding for Prekindergarten

The Texas Education Agency posted an update yesterday regarding supplemental funding for Prekindergarten. The 84th Texas Legislature provided an appropriation for supplemental prekindergarten funding for the 2015­–2016 and 2016–2017 school years and the letter provides information regarding the amount of the allotment, coding of revenues, and use of funds. House Bill 4 Implementation Survey

The Texas Education Agency is requesting input through a survey regarding high-quality prekindergarten programs related to House Bill 4. Each LEA is requested to submit one survey response.
