RTI and Enrichment in Project Share – Great Starting Place for District or Campus PLC In Project Share

The Texas Center for Student Success (TCSS) has released a free online course for teachers called “Improving Student Performance-Best Practices in Intervention and Acceleration”.

Teachers will find links for resources/research, exemplar practices, and leadership in each of the four core areas. The course is arranged by subject and level and further divided into “Research/Resources”, “Exemplar Practices”, and “Leadership.”  In addition, they have embedded OnTrack course content.

It is designed as a self-paced learning, but it strikes me as an excellent resource to include in collaborative learning at a district, campus or team level.

It occurred to me as I reviewed these resources that a team of professionals might want to create a Project Share group locally in their district corner as a place to carry out conversations, share files, ideas and document efforts that correspond to this free course.  District leaders, this is a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves and build an authentic Professional Learning Community (PLC) in Project Share with some ready to use learning content.

Go ahead and enroll in the course here http://www.epsilen.com/crs/1011911

Once you are enrolled, start with the syllabus.

Happy Trails
