Digital Writing Fosters Content Connections and Deeper Learning

When students compose, collaborate, and publish online they are more engaged in the process. Providing opportunities for students to share their writing with an authentic public audience creates a motivating and meaningful learning experience. Whether you utilize social media such as twitter or Google+, have students write collaboratively using a Google doc, or get students sharing feedback via a blog, you will see a difference in engagement levels in your classroom.

If you are interested in learning more about how to integrate digital writing into your classroom register for the three day Digital Writing Institute at Region 13 this summer.
