November 16, 2015  Shuffling into Math (Grades K-2)

Learn how to use games as a teaching strategy and why this powerful strategy works. You will use cards, a variety of dice, and dominoes to support a wide array of math topics. K-2 topics include numeration, number sense, basic operations, and place value. Games for grades 3-5 will focus on number sense, place value, operations, fact fluency, and fractions.

Box Cars games provide great opportunities for differentiation in your classroom. Reproducible game boards will be provided so that you can start playing the games with your students right away. Come prepared to play!
