Camp or Club in a Box for Robotics and GPS

GEAR TECH 21 is a flyer offering information about a 2-day session for schools interested in offering camps or clubs for students using robotics, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and/or Global Information Systems (GIS). Participants completing this course will receive a step-by-step curriculum which includes student workbooks, teacher activity guides, and online resources.
Program includes access to:
  • Curriculum materials for 300 instructional hours for a two-year
  • period
  • ‘Camp-in-a-Box’ organizational materials
  • Annual national 4-H robotics virtual competitions
Combine robotics, GPS, and GIS in a program that is challenging and fun! Explore activities to use with students in areas of programming, geo-tracking, navigation and map making. The use of Lego Mindstorms Education NXT base kit & Garmin eTrex Legend H will be modeled during this training. The registration fee does not include equipment.
