Educator Evening at the LBJ Library: Perspectives on the Presidential Election

On September 13, 2016,  the LBJ Library will host a free educator evening featuring guest speaker Dr. Victoria DeFrancesco Soto, who will discuss perspectives on the upcoming presidential election. Dr. Victoria DeFrancesco Soto is a professor and outreach director for the Center for Mexican American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin, a political analyst for Telemundo, and a contributor to MSNBC and NBCNews.com. Educators will be welcomed to a reception with refreshments, election related educational materials and door prizes. The LBJ Library will also launch a new educator membership, as part of the Friends of the LBJ Library program. Two hours of CPE credit will be awarded for attendees. Free parking will be available in the LBJ Library visitor lot #38, located on Red River Street.
