Science teachers and Special Education teachers supporting Science –

The modern classroom includes a heterogeneous group of students with varied interests, backgrounds and levels of preparedness.  Accessing the General Education in Science is a workshop that will explore research, strategies and practices related to different groups of students. Participants will gain knowledge of research based approaches to help students who are struggling, take a meaningful role in class and make progress toward success. Participants will also learn about new state assessments and link instructional accommodations to allowable accommodations on state standardized tests.
