Helping Secondary Students Decode with Word Identification (FA1532063)

In this workshop you will learn the Word Identification Strategy. This is a research-validated strategy that teaches students to systematically dissect words, pronounce them, and then fluently read them in a sentence. As students become adept with applying the strategy their comprehension and fluency scores improve!

Research from the University of Kansas tells us that substantial increases have been achieved with all subgroups of students, including students with reading disabilities.
