SPP Online Data Collection Submissions Deadline

All districts and charter schools must submit and certify data for SPP indicators 7,11,12,13 and 14 by accessing the online data collection application available through TEASE at https://seguin.tea.state.tx.us/apps/logon.asp. If your district or charter school has not submitted data, please review the following procedures to ensure timely and accurate submission of data.

1.  Every district and charter school must have a Certifier identified for each SPP indicator.  There can only be one Certifier per LEA for each SPP application.  If the person established as the Certifier has left that position or the LEA, then that role will need to be revoked by the Superintendent before a new Certifier can apply for access.

Action Required:  Confirm that the designated Certifier has a TEASE account allowing the user to certify each SPP indicator by August 31, 2011.

2.  District and Charter schools are strongly encouraged to review the data integrity checklists for SPP Indicators 11, 12, and 13 prior to submitting and certifying data.

Action Required: Review the data integrity checklists at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/index2.aspx?id=2147497590

3.  Every district and charter school must certify the SPP indicators 7, 11, 12, 13 and 14 by 6:00 pm on August 31, 2011.

Action Required: Confirm certify status by navigating to the District Administration page of each SPP online application. The status on the page will indicate it is certified.

Action Related to Failure to Report Data

Indicators 11, 12, and 13
Data certified and submitted by LEAs through the TEASE applications for Indicators 11, 12, and 13 are considered final and the LEA’s performance on the compliance indicators will be used by the Agency in the annual Determinations analysis.

Indicators 7 and 14
Data certified and submitted by districts and charter schools through the TEASE applications for Indicator 7 and 14 are considered final and will be used by the Agency in the annual Determinations analysis on whether or not districts and charter schools are reporting valid and reliable data.

The LEA’s performance on Indicators 7 and 14 will be reflected in the LEA public reporting on SPP Indicators in the spring. Any issues related to the submission of inaccurate data or the non submission of data will be addressed by the Division of IDEA Coordination.
