Persons with Disabilities History and Awareness Month

TEA has requested that we share this letter from the Committee on People with Disabilities in the Office of the Governor with the principals in your LEA.  The letter encourages schools and other organizations to begin preparations  to celebrate Disability History Month next October by offering programs that honor the contributions of people with disabilities to our state and local communities.
